Eligibility

• Offer available to eligible non-members who are legal U.S. residents 18 years of age or older, unless prohibited by law.
• Individuals who have had a BCU membership within the last 12 months are not eligible.
• Offer is limited to individuals who have not received a cash bonus or promotional deposit within the last 12 months.

Account Opening Requirements

• Non-members joining through Life. Money. You. (LMY) must open their membership and checking account in person at a local BCU branch.
• Online or remote account opening is not permitted for LMY-eligible participants wanting to earn the bonus.

• April 1, 2026 – May 15, 2026

Bonus Details

• Promo code: BOOST
• $500 deposit for:
  • Opening a new BCU membership
  • Opening a PowerPlus Checking account
  • Completing at least $3,000 in qualifying direct deposits
  • Completing at least 30 qualifying transactions
• Requirements must be completed within 60 days of membership opening.

Qualifying Direct Deposits

• Includes recurring income such as salary, pension, Social Security benefits, or other eligible income from an employer or third party.
• Does NOT include:
  • ATM transfers
  • Online or teller transfers
  • Paper check deposits
  • Wire transfers

Qualifying Transactions

• Debit and credit card purchases and payments
• Online Bill Pay or ACH payments
• BCU Zelle transactions
• Paper or electronic check payments
• BCU loan payments (credit card, consumer loan, or mortgage)
• Transactions are counted when posted.
• Transactions posted on the last day of the month may apply to the following month.

Additional Conditions

• Applicants must meet membership eligibility requirements at BCU.org/Membership-Eligibility.
• Membership and PowerPlus Checking must be opened by May 15, 2026.
• The $500 incentive will be deposited by July 31, 2026 with description "CHECKPROMOREBATE".
• The incentive may be reported to the IRS (Form 1099-MISC or 1042-S).
• Membership must be in good standing to receive the incentive.
• Existing members are not eligible.
• Limit one (1) promotional deposit per membership.
• No substitutions allowed.
• Void where prohibited.

PowerPlus Checking Rate Details¹

• Promotion applies to memberships opened by December 31, 2026.
• Introductory period:
  • Begins the month the membership is opened
  • Ends on the last calendar day of the 4th month

Introductory Rates

• Level 1: 4.00% APY
• Level 2: 8.00% APY

After Introductory Period

• Balances up to $15,000 earn the higher rate.
• Balances over $15,000 earn the lower rate.

ATM Fee Reimbursement

• Level 1: up to $10.00 per month
• Level 2: up to $20.00 per month
